Trends In Global Fertility Rates Presented In Animated GIF Form
Using the Gapminder Global Trends application [1], I created four animated GIFs of trends in global fertility rates. The four GIFs all have total fertility as the y-axis, and GDP/capita, life expectancy, mean years of schooling for women aged 15 to 64, and age at first marriage for women as the x-axes.

The colors of the dots on the grid have the following meanings:
Yellow: The Americas
Orange: Europe and Central Asia
Red: East Asia and Pacific
Dark Blue: Sub-Saharan Africa
Light Blue: South Asia
Green: Middle East and North Africa
